This POV is consistant with the Israel has a right to defend herself shared by many Americans and most of the US Congress.
Cease fire? No.
Prisoner exchange? No.
Negotiations? No.
I wonder what Israel intends to do if the 2 soldiers kidnapped by Hizbollah are killed? Nuke Beirut?
The USA, as the world's only superpower, still carries the influence (despite 5 1/2 years of the Bush nightmare) to bring both sides to the table and end the bloodbath.
